White gown of 1797
I fell in love with the beautiful gown from Tidens Toj years ago and set out to make it in embroidered white linen. Only I found that I didn’t have enough for fabric for the lovely drape in the front. As the fabric had been resident in my stash for years there was no chance to get some more. It still turned out to be a lovely gown and I’m very pleased with it. I adapted the pattern for my roundgown for it, making the front a bit less gathered, for example.
The original also have a very pretty pleated back, which I tried to re-create.

I have seen it in person and it's indeed lovely!
You are so sweet, Madame Berg- thank you!
Hi there, I have fixed the blogger issue on my computer and the Dreamstress tells me you would be interested in it too. I went to the help blog and I tried several of the suggested fixes, but I think the one that did it was to uncheck the "keep me logged in" box when you log into blogger. I also cleaned out my temp internet files. I'd try the first thing, it was much easier! :)
Mrs C: That's very sweet of you and Dreamstress, though I have had my problmes solved since last week. :) It's strange that such a small thing can have so big an effect.
