I' finally, almost done with the lasing holes on my stays. It's been a very slow go, as I find that my hands needs to rest when I've done a couple.. Which I probably why I don't seem to get better in making them. Every forth, or so, comes out perfectly, the reast, well, they will hold.
A definitie drawback in packing for a move, is that I can't find stuff. I have a small piece of linen and silk that is to be the shoulderstraps of the stays. I know I saw them and put it in a safe place so I wouldn't pack them by mistake. If anyone could tell me where that safe place is, I would be very greatful...
I've sewn my medieval smock together and is now felling the seams.
