A couple of closed Robe à la Française

Not the most popular version of the Robe à la Française, but the version with a closed skirt crops up from time to time, roughly between the 1730s-60s.

... burial gown? :)

DLM: It was used instead of a shroud. But it wasn't made for the burial- they used a gown already in the lady's wardrobe.
