I am still on vacation, which is why I'm so quiet and is having a good time. I have ventured into new areas of cyberspace and is testing both Instagram and Twitter. I plan to keep them Close to this and Madame Isis Toiltte in subject and if you are interested, then the accounts are both called isiswardrobe. There will be cat and dog Pictures, though. And, of course, I have spent some time in the 18th Century. The museum Skansen had their annual 18th Century weeks in July and as usual Gustafs Skål was there to add to the amusement. I also got a chance to try out some coloured hair powder, which you can see
here.

On day two I left the 1780's and went for the 1740's instead. |

A temporary change of cavalier as Anders was the only other one dressed in the 1740's, wearing a quilted waistcoat with sleeves. |

The Lovely Little gazebo in the garden was open for once, so we could go inside and see the painted interior. |

The fortune teller and her cards. She foresaw that a visiting squirell would be able to succesfully steal something, just moments before he jumped up at our table and got away with a tasty morsel. |

Madame, these are some of the most joyous photos you've shared - the first one of you is one of your best! It looks like a delightful holiday. Thank you for giving us a glimpse (and I will follow you on Twitter!). Beautiful work, and it looks like a winning company of folks ... and squirrels!
Dear Isis,
What a fine day you all had: the happiness and relaxation is just imprinted all over those photos.
The one of the group of you sitting on benches and hay in the shade, with a building behind you and the sun slanting from behind, could be a scene right from a genre painting.
Oh, and the little summerhouse: how beautiful! Sweden is the best at lighthearted decorative painting, I think.
Very best,
Natalie
Thank you very much for sharing your photos. You really captured the summer's spirit with the camera - beautiful. Pretty dresses and a lovely setting!
Sabine
Beautiful! That green hat is FAB!
DLM: Thank you! I too find it an uncommonly godd photo of me. :) We had a very nice weekend.
Natalie: Skansen has a collection of period houses from the 16th to the 20th century, so it is easy to find a spot that suits our clothes. :) A must see if you ever come to Stockholm.
Sabine: Thank you so much!
Kendra: Thank you! I'm quite pleased with it. :)
